Part #1 of the Gnarpoon pictures, in polished aluminium finish.

You may find this bike has weird proportions if you're not familiar with recent mountain bike evolution. That's because these last years MTB has emancipated itself from its road bike ancestry.

The seat tube got steeper to put the rider's weight more in the middle and improves pedalling efficiency during climbing while the head tube got slacker and the wheelbase longer, which gives much more stability when descending at high speed.

The bottom bracket got a bit lowered to put the rider more "in" the bike than "on" the bike. Therefore this evolution got dubbed "longer, lower, slacker".
